Key Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for managing the full import process for a shipment, from start to finish Raising job files and inputting data into FM3 Complete day to day import documentation Deal with all aspects of customs entry declarations Co-ordinate with customs for clearance Manage customs entry exceptions Develop effective relationships with customers for a professional and efficient service Communicating with clients regarding consignment progress Book appropriate transport Develop new business sales Support and cover export processes Communicating with sales and operations team throughout the day Provide administration assistance to sales team Provide assistance throughout the business as and when required Experience/Skills required Three years+ experience of import customs entries Good knowledge of CPC codes & customs tariff Ability to calculate Duty & VAT cost for individual shipments Some experience of completing import and export entries Experience using ASM Sequoia Able to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and organisation skills Knowledge of the shipping process surrounding Brexit - an advantage but not mandatory NCTS knowledge - great advantage Experience using FMS (not essential as training will be given) Import knowledge of TA and bonded warehouse clearances As an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight specialist in the UK.
