Job Opportunity: Senior Quantity Surveyor
About the Client
Our client is a leading civil engineering firm renowned for its expertise in designing and delivering projects across the water, marine, and power sectors. They are currently expanding their commercial team in Scotland and are seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Renfrewshire. Applications are welcomed from Quantity Surveyors at all levels, particularly those with experience in the water industry.Role Details
- Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Location: Renfrewshire
- Sector: Civil Engineering
- Contract: Minimum 6 months
- Start Date: Immediate
- Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
- Working Hours: Thursday 8am to 5:30pm, Friday 8am to 4pm
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from tender stage through to final account.
- Produce accurate cost forecasts for projects.
- Undertake commercial reporting and analysis.
- Provide commercial support to operational and other internal teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in a surveying role within the civil engineering sector, ideally with a focus on water-related projects.
- A degree (or equivalent) in a commercial discipline.
- Familiarity with various forms of contract, particularly bespoke contracts.
