Senior Project Planner - Offshore Wind (UK Based)
Location: UK (Hybrid with occasional site visits)
Sector: Renewable Energy - Offshore Wind
Employment Type: Contract / Permanent

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the UK's renewable energy future? We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Planner to join a high-performing Planning Team, delivering one of the UK's largest Offshore Wind projects.


As a key member of this dynamic and multicultural team, you will be supporting the end-to-end planning lifecycle of a complex, multi-disciplinary EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) offshore wind development - from Generation to Transmission and everything in between.

What You'll Be Doing



  • Create, update, and maintain multiple package schedules using Primavera P6

  • Attend weekly Work Package meetings, contributing planning expertise and data-driven insights




  • Lead monthly and ad-hoc schedule reviews to support decision-making and accurate forecasting




  • Interface with key stakeholders across Commercial, Procurement, Finance, and Consenting teams




  • Produce scenario planning ('what-if' analysis) to guide project strategy




  • Participate in the development of integrated monthly planning reports and milestone trackers




  • Visit UK-based sites occasionally to collaborate with contractors and align scope and progress



Your Profile




  • 10+ years' experience in Project Planning and Controls, ideally within the Offshore Wind sector




  • Strong understanding of large-scale project lifecycles across Development and Construction




  • Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6




  • Ability to operate effectively in multicultural and multi-discipline project teams




  • Offshore Wind knowledge covering Generation, Transmission, T&I, and stakeholder integration




  • Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable advising on high-level planning strategies
