Key responsibilities of Engineering Estimator: Apprentice trained time served engineer with detailed hands-on specific manufacturing experience with an ever-changing product portfolio. Experience of AS9100 environment or similar quality environment Appropriate technical machining and quality knowledge using a variety manufacturing methods and materials. Detailed knowledge and understanding of OHSE in the workplace Successful implementation of positive change management projects Experience with CNC machining methods Problem solving ability Ability to understand timings on CNC machines Experience of leading continuous improvement strategy and implementing process improvements. You will play a key role in delivering accurate quotations and tender submissions. You'll determine manufacturing costs and lead times for customer RFQs, working closely with Engineering, Purchasing/Procurement and site teams to ensure bids are competitive, compliant and commercially sound. You'll also act as a key commercial interface between the business and its customers.
