Permanent Carpenter (Multi-Trade) - Northampton Area
Salary: 32,500 + up to 5% annual trade bonus (pro-rata)
Package: Company van (work use only), fuel card, 25 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday off, generous benefits
The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, our client has a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Carpenter (Multi-Trade) to join their Responsive Repairs Team. You'll carry out carpentry and basic plumbing tasks across social housing properties in Northamptonshire.
Key Details
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Location: Mobile role covering Northamptonshire region
Driving: Full UK licence required (max 5 points, no bans in last 5 years)
Checks: Basic DBS required (provided by us)
Your Role
Perform property repairs with a focus on carpentry (plus basic plumbing)
Aim for a "first-time fix" on all jobs
Maintain high standards of work and customer service
Accurately update job progress using a PDA system
Collaborate with colleagues and flag when additional trades are needed
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding policies
What We're Looking For
NVQ/City & Guilds in Carpentry OR proven experience
Full UK driving licence (5 points max)
Experience in social housing (desirable)
