SHUTTERING CARPENTER
VGC Group are looking for experienced Shuttering Carpenter to start on a project in Manchester area
Role: Shuttering Carpenter
Location: SK14 6NG
Salary: £19.26 Per Hour PAYE
Qualifications: Blue CSCS NVQ Level 2 in Formwork

Shuttering Carpenter Highways Project
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
- Build and assemble formwork for concrete structures.
- Position and secure formwork using tools like hammers, nails, and braces.
- Install and tie steel reinforcement (rebar) as needed.
- Collaborate with concrete workers, steel fixers, and site supervisors.
- Safely dismantle formwork once concrete has cured.
You will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.
