Conduct risk assessments and implement safe working practices during installation, testing, and troubleshooting. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation for all installations, configurations, and system modifications. Provide reports on installation and commissioning activities. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve system designs and functionality based on field experience. Qualifications & Skills: Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience working with controls, automation systems, and variable speed drives (VSDs) in industrial applications, ideally within the water industry or similar sectors. Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and commissioning VSDs and control panels id highly beneficial. Knowledge of water treatment or pumping systems is highly beneficial. Skills: Strong understanding of electrical and control system principles, with a focus on variable speed drives, pumps and motors. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and integrate new equipment to an existing system. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
