Overview:
Actaris are seeking a highly capable and experienced General Manager to oversee all aspects of Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Licensing, and Fire Safety within a Football stadium setting. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of all on-site activities in accordance with current legislation and industry best practices.
Location: The Hive London (HA8 6AG)
Salary: 50,000 basic + 10,000 performance-based bonus (OTE 60,000)
Hours: 46 hours per week (30 fixed + 16 flexible)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust H&S policies and procedures.
- Lead site-wide compliance across safeguarding, fire safety, risk assessments, and licensing.
- Ensure all departments and events are operating within a safe framework.
- Chair regular safety meetings and liaise with emergency services and local authorities as required.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and training to maintain a safe environment.
- Manage and report on any incidents, near misses, and compliance breaches.
- Maintain up-to-date records of statutory and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a sports or events venue.
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification(s).
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding protocols and UK licensing laws.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
