Team Overview:
The Technology Operations Department is responsible for Elexon's IT Operations, including the EMRS and MHHS programmes, Cloud Operations, and Platform Services. Our platform services encompass governance, monitoring, and identity management, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-performing environments across Elexon.
Job Purpose:
Elexon is digitalising services and transforming the systems that deliver the Balancing and Settlement Code for the electricity market. Elexon owns the architecture and end-to-end governance around this transformation. The implementation and operational management is a shared responsibility between Elexon and our outsourced partners for application management, development, and business processes.
This Microsoft specialist role focuses on cloud platform leadership, ensuring robust cloud governance, enhancing platform service capabilities, and implementing security solutions. The Cloud Support Engineer will work closely with the Cloud Platform Manager to ensure Elexon maintains a resilient, scalable, and secure cloud environment aligned with strategic goals.
