About the role The Mayor wants to make London a zero-carbon city by 2030, while at the same time protecting the most disadvantaged by tackling fuel poverty. Through his programmes, the Mayor is scaling up energy efficiency retrofit, increasing renewable power generation, helping to cut energy bills, reducing fuel poverty, and planning for the smart flexible energy system of the future. This post will play a crucial role in achieving this. The post holder will support the delivery of a portfolio of environment and energy projects and programmes through data analysis and advice. We expect the post holder to provide cross-cutting data analysis for the Energy Unit to inform policy, strategy and programme delivery.
