Location: Bridport, Dorset
Contract: Full-Time Permanent
Salary: 25,000 to 30,000 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday 37 hours per week

Connect Appointments is recruiting an experienced Family Secretary / Paralegal for a respected legal firm in Bridport. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team in a busy family law department.

Working as a Family Secretary/Paralegal, your key duties will include:

  • Provide admin support to fee earners and manage case files
  • Prepare legal documents and correspondence using digital dictation
  • Assist with court bundles and legal archiving
  • Handle new client enquiries and file procedures
  • Organise hearings, conferences, and client appointments
  • Maintain accurate attendance notes and case records
  • Attend training as required

What We're Looking For?

  • Experience in a legal secretary or paralegal role (ideally in family law)
  • Strong admin, time management, and communication skills

  • Confident with legal systems and digital tools
