Heating Engineer, Central Belt, Salary from £37,000 to £40,000 per annum + Overtime + Company Van!

Heating Engineer opporunity to join a leading Facilities Management company, specialising in plantroom and boilerhouse installations across commercial sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical expertise across varied projects involving heating, plumbing, and chilled water systems.

Engineer's Responsibilities:

  • System Installation & Maintenance
    Install and maintain commercial heating, plumbing, and chilled water systems across a variety of commercial sites.
  • Welding & Pipework
    Perform arc and gas welding on mild steel, stainless steel, copper, and galvanized materials using various fitting methods (press fit, Victaulic, brazed, soldered, etc.).
  • Project Management
    Take ownership of jobs, working independently or as part of a small team, ensuring timely and professional delivery.
  • Client Interaction
    Liaise directly with clients, providing excellent service and maintaining strong professional relationships.

Engineer's Requirements:

  • Qualified Heating Engineer or Pipefitter (Senior Craftsman status desirable)
  • Proven experience with plantroom and boilerhouse installations
  • Skilled in arc and gas welding
  • Proficient with a range of materials and fitting techniques
  • Able to manage own workload and projects independently
  • Gas testing and purging skills (advantageous)
  • Steam system experience (a plus, not essential)
  • Confident and professional in client-facing environments
  • Full UK driving licence required
