Heating Engineer opporunity to join a leading Facilities Management company, specialising in plantroom and boilerhouse installations across commercial sites. Engineer's Responsibilities:
- System Installation & Maintenance
Install and maintain commercial heating, plumbing, and chilled water systems across a variety of commercial sites. - Welding & Pipework
Perform arc and gas welding on mild steel, stainless steel, copper, and galvanized materials using various fitting methods (press fit, Victaulic, brazed, soldered, etc.). - Project Management
Take ownership of jobs, working independently or as part of a small team, ensuring timely and professional delivery. - Client Interaction
Liaise directly with clients, providing excellent service and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Engineer's Requirements:
- Qualified Heating Engineer or Pipefitter (Senior Craftsman status desirable)
- Proven experience with plantroom and boilerhouse installations
- Skilled in arc and gas welding
- Proficient with a range of materials and fitting techniques
- Able to manage own workload and projects independently
- Gas testing and purging skills (advantageous)
- Steam system experience (a plus, not essential)
- Confident and professional in client-facing environments
- Full UK driving licence required
