Gas Engineer

Job description

We are a well-established gas and heating services company based in the Midlands, seeking experienced and reliable self-employed Gas Engineers to join our growing team on a subcontract basis. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of domestic gas works including boiler installations, servicing, maintenance, and repairs.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a professional and supportive company with consistent workflow across the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of domestic gas boilers and heating systems
• Servicing and repairing domestic boilers and gas appliances
• Performing landlord gas safety checks (CP12s)
• Diagnosing faults and providing effective solutions
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service
• Completing required documentation and certificates in a timely manner

Requirements:

Certifications:

• Gas Safe Registration (active and in date)
• Public Liability Insurance Minimum £2 million cover
• Full UK Driving Licence

Tools & Equipment:

• Full set of hand tools
• Smartphone or tablet for job reporting and documentation
• PPE and workwear (company branding optional)
