Job Description

My Building Materials Client are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Person to join them on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background with managerial experience, demonstrating the ability to drive team performance, spot upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and ensure the smooth operation of the department. This role requires a proactive individual who is highly organised and can bring positive energy to the team while managing both inbound queries and team development.

Experience:

  • o Proven experience in a sales role with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a construction environment
  • o Previous managerial or team leadership experience is essential.
  • o Experience with upselling and cross-selling within a sales environment.

Key Skills:

  • o Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • o Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • o Highly organised and detail-oriented. o Proactive with a results-driven mindset.
  • o Ability to identify and seize new business opportunities.
  • o Ability to manage and resolve customer inquiries efficiently and effectively.
  • o Skilled in using CRM tools and sales reporting software.
