Press Operator

Our client design and manufacture precision forged and machined components and are currently recruiting for a Press / Forge Operative to join their team. As a Press / Forge Operative you would assist in loading machinery and working on press machinery with the forge department within the business.

Hours of work will be 4 day week 06.00-16.00

Pay £13.50 per hour

Reporting directly to the Department Leader , your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist on component operations within the forge department
• Loading of materials and components into forge / press machinery
• Carry out visual checks on machined parts and ensure they are to a satisfactory standard

To be successful in the role of a Press / Forge Operative you will hold the following skills and experience;

• Experience of working in a heavy manufacturing or heavy industrial production environment
• Understanding of reading and interpreting instructions
• Good communicator and a "can do" attitude"
• An attention to detail and able to work meticulously
