Project & Contracts Manager to join their Eastern team based out of a brand-new office on the outskirts of
Grantham. This is a key role blending project delivery, contract leadership, and business development.

About the Role: You ll be taking the lead on a diverse portfolio of off-track rail infrastructure projects ranging from depot refurbishments to station facilities and office upgrades across the East Coast Main Line, covering London to the Scottish borders. This is a role based in Grantham that will start out mostly on-site, moving towards greater flexibility as you embed yourself within the team.
Key Responsibilities: - Full contract and project lifecycle management: delivery, compliance, H&S, and quality.
- Contract administration, commercial oversight, and progress reporting and growth.
- Drive value engineering and optioneering solutions for clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships; identify and secure new work.
- Oversee and grow a PAYE-based site delivery team.
- Work closely with operational, technical, and commercial leads to ensure profitable, on-time delivery.
What We re Looking For: - Minimum 10 years' experience in rail, civil engineering, or construction.
- Strong track record in contract and project management within the built environment.
- Experience with reactive maintenance and infrastructure refurbishment is key.
- Civil Engineering qualifications (CEM, CRE, or NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management) preferred; time-served professionals also considered.
- Excellent client-facing and commercial skills you must be comfortable promoting the business and building long-term relationships.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Flexibility to travel across East Coast sites when required.
Package & Perks: - Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE)
