Job Description
Blocktech MEP are looking on behalf of their client for a Mechanical Site Supervisor ideally possessing an associated trade qualification (M&E, pipe welding/fitting, building services, HVAC, groundworks / civil works)
Your role will be to visit/supervise multiple construction sites around the UK and liaise with site personnel, Project Managers, and client representatives to deliver successful installations smoothly, on time and within a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with contract team regarding current projects and status.
- Liaise with site teams to check/monitor Health & Safety Compliance.
- Carrying out site toolbox talks, & mentor installers
- Participating in H&S meetings and site audits to ensure team working to client RAMS,
- Attend site meetings to assist contracts team.
- Communication between site teams and office.
- Assisting with Plant Hires/Off Hires, Deliveries & site clearances.
- Monitoring/Checking Installer Plant & Tool certifications, & PPE suitability.
- Conduct site surveys as directed by the Contracts Team
- Commissioning duties to completed installations.
- Alarm Wire Surveys as directed by Contracts Team.
Required Skills / Experience
- SSSTS / SMSTS /CSCS/ISOH
- CPCS Lift Supervisor
- Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Must be hardworking, reliable and possess a good work ethic.
- Must be able to deal with multiple projects simultaneously.
If successful, you will receive the following.
- 8:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
- 55,000 to 60,000 Salary (Depending on Experience)
- 6000 Car allowance
- 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
