Job Purpose: The Senior Site Technician plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality materials testing services across various construction and infrastructure projects. This role involves supervising site testing activities, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, mentoring junior technicians, and maintaining safety, accuracy, and efficiency in all field operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform and oversee site-based materials testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials in accordance with BS, ASTM, EN, or other relevant standards. Lead a team of technicians, providing mentorship, on-site training, and technical support. Ensure correct sampling techniques, preparation, and execution of field and laboratory tests. Liaise with site engineers, contractors, and clients to schedule and coordinate testing services. Accurately record and report test data using digital or paper-based systems.
