Plant Fitter - Site Based - HS2 Area North, West Midlands LEAN - Profit EXPERT - Quality TRUSTED - People SAFE - Zero Harm KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Fitter o To ensure the works are carried out in the most efficient and safe manner o Demonstrate positive attitude and behaviour towards safety o Maintain and Repair Heavy Construction Equipment, to include the following, Electrical Diagrams,Engines and Fuel Systems, Transmissions,AGM,CFA,LDP, and Bentonite Equipment, Fault Finding o Follow company/manufacturers procedures to ensure standards are met o Notify the Site Supervisor of any matters that affect the progress of works (including breakdowns & damages, etc.) o Ensure daily maintenance checks are carried out, reports are correctly completed on time and submitted to the site Supervisor. o Good Records and Report Writing where required o Ensure the site is kept clean and tidy at all times o Be willing to listen and learn in all areas of process o Always asking questions to understand procedures o Ensure relevant task briefings have been carried out prior to tasks undertaken o Make sure the quality and quantity of work produced is at required levels o Be prepared to work overtime/flexible on breaks as and when the contract requires o Willingness to help others within the team o Be able to contribute good ideas for business improvement o Willingness to teach others when needed o Be pro-active and think ahead on the project by working closely with Chargehands & Supervisors o Willingness to teach others when needed o Ability to lead by example PERSONAL QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE The following qualities/experience are essential: Fitter o Good communication skills (to all levels including Supervisors) o Ability to work as part of a team o Proactively challenge and be challenged where appropriate o Good Knowledge of all piling equipment o Good Knowledge of Piling Diaphragm Wall o Repair and maintenance of Internal Plant o Able to follow Manufacturers Manuals , and understand electrics and Hydraulics o Liaise with Manufacturer, reporting any defects or faults o Is able to work unsupervised to achieve desired results o HSE CSCS card o Relevant manufacture/supplier training where required o Maintenance training o Knowledge of site method statements, procedures, risk assessments and site specific rules (including lift plans) o Knowledge of piling techniques in rotary discipline o Site experience Specific skill/qualification relevant to project role The following qualities/experience are desirable: o Slinger/Signaller CPCS (Competent Operator Blue card) SB3 BEHAVIOURS Team player: Positive and passionate attitude towards work Action Taker: Gets the job done and done well Positive: Positive and passionate attitude towards work

We have an exciting opportunity for a Training Manager to join a global business services provider focused on modular construction, secure portable storage solutions, and remote workforce accommodation management. The ideal candidate will have training delivery experience from construction / heavy industry or crane hire. The role: Setting the standards and expectations for Operational training within the business Set up and deliver relevant training modules across the business both using remote and in person training delivery models.
