Job Purpose: The Estate Operative Department is responsible for waste management and cleanliness of the development. This includes carpark maintenance and upkeep of communal areas to ensure Cheksea Creek (London SW6) remains a pleasant and high-standard place to live for all residents. The role will involve operating heavy machinery such as fork-lift trucks, side loaders and overhead cranes. The site processes thousands of tonnes of steel each week and so health and safety is a primary concern for us. As such, you'll be given full training on how to operate all the machinery on our site as well as manual handling and general health and safety training. Hours of work are fixed 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday. What you'll need: To be successful in the role you will have experience in manufacturing, steel environment, warehousing or distribution.
