We re working with a UK-based innovator in the electric vehicle charging space to recruit a Full Stack Developer to play a central role in delivering the smart, connected infrastructure that underpins their growing product range.
This is a hands-on, office-based role where you ll work alongside hardware and firmware teams to build real-world IoT-enabled systems from the ground up. The company is known for its premium charge point design, smart user features, and direct partnerships with major automotive brands.
The Role
You ll lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of the cloud back-end systems, as well as supporting production processes and managing devops pipelines. Your work will directly influence the real-time operation of connected devices and apps across the UK.
What You'll Need
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in similar roles
- 3+ years experience in a full-stack development position
- Strong experience in AWS cloud development, including hands-on work with services such as ECS, EC2, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Docker.
- Proficiency in modern development stacks, with a preference for Node.js, TypeScript, and React
- Experience working with cloud platforms and real-time databases, including GCP, Firebase, and AWS.
- Proficient in designing, developing, and working with REST APIs and AWS Lambda functions.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud back-end solutions and infrastructure
- Own and uphold high standards for code quality and best practices
- Drive the implementation of new development patterns and technologies
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD and DevOps pipelines
- Lead the resolution of complex technical challenges with efficient, scalable solutions
- Oversee the build, testing, and deployment of new software releases
- Support internal teams and third-party production environments by resolving issues and improving testing processes
- Provide 3rd-level customer support by diagnosing and resolving bugs and system issues
