ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to take ownership of facilities, maintenance and compliance across a portfolio of hotel properties in London. This is a hands-on, multi-site leadership position for someone who can combine strategic planning with practical day-to-day operational management. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining safe, compliant and well-presented properties while leading internal maintenance teams and external contractors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead facilities and maintenance operations across multiple hotel sites, ensuring each property is safe, compliant, operational and maintained to a high standard. Manage and coordinate handymen, maintenance engineers, technicians and other property support staff across the portfolio. Plan and prioritise reactive maintenance, planned preventive maintenance and longer-term capital works. Own relationships with external contractors and suppliers, including tendering, performance management, cost control and service level agreements (SLAs). Monitor statutory and operational compliance, including fire safety, health and safety, water hygiene, electrical systems, gas systems, lifts, plant rooms and other building services as applicable. Manage maintenance budgets, purchase approvals and expenditure, identifying opportunities to improve value without compromising safety or guest experience. Carry out regular site inspections, maintain action plans and ensure defects are followed through to completion.
