As the Defect Manager , you'll be responsible for reactive maintenance activities across an allocated area or asset type on the M25 network, ensuring Category 1 and Category 2 defect repairs are carried out on time, to the highest standards, and within budget. Overseeing repairs delivered by both internal teams and subcontractors, you'll foster a culture committed to doing things the right way-with public safety always at the forefront. You'll ensure the appropriate resources are in place to deliver works, manage fleet and permits, and identify procurement needs. Your role will also include conducting Root Cause Analysis for delays, managing supplier performance, and working closely with the Network Access Team to optimise scheduling and site-sharing opportunities. Purpose of Job To carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to client Heating & Air-Conditioning Systems in accordance with agreed service levels Key Responsibilities Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all Heating & Air-conditioning plant to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements. Ensure that Evaporative Cooling Systems and Domestic water systems are maintained to comply with the requirements of the L8 standard.
