What you'll bring The role requires the following experience and skills: Front end: Angular and/or React TypeScript HTML + CSS Back end: C# .NET (Latest) REST APIs Entity Framework Core General: Experience of using version control systems (e.g. Git / GitLab or similar); Strong object oriented design and programming skills (OOD, OOP); Familiarity with development methodologies (e.g. V model, Waterfall, Agile); Proficiency with tools like Jira and Confluence; A proven track record of delivering reliable, maintainable software across the life cycle, including peer review; Strong communication, documentation and organisational skills; A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Desirable Skills Any of the following additional experience or skills would be advantageous: Experience with Agile / Kanban; Experience with CI/CD pipelines; Experience with Artifactory (JFrog); Experience in C++, preferably embedded C++, or willing to learn; Experience of other languages such as C, JavaScript, Python, Rust, etc; Experience with Linux development environments; Experience architecting software systems that interface with hardware; Experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g. containerisation / Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, micro service architecture, continuous assurance / CI/CD and associated best practice); Demonstrated ability to document, plan and manage software team activities; Experience of setting up, monitoring and reporting appropriate metrics throughout the software project life cycle.
