Senior Product Manager
Hyperexponential Ltd
Product Management at hyperexponential Our Technology department is a melting pot of some of the brightest (and kindest!) engineers and product managers in the industry. The level of complexity of hx Renew requires a highly technical, true engineering mindset so an output of this is a deeply creative, innovative environment where we push the technological boundaries of what's possible. You will report to the Product Lead, and work closely with a product engineering team. We always have more hard product problems than we have time to solve so this is a position with plenty of growth opportunity as we continue to expand! Your Mission We need a technically-minded Product Manager with engineering experience to take ownership of our Models domain, managing the experience actuaries provide to underwriters though their model building activities in our core product, hx Renew. You'll continually expand what our users can achieve with hx Renew's modelling capability. That means some really interesting challenges that will require strong platform thinking. You'll need to balance creating components, which are easy for actuaries developing on our platform to work with, but which provide a high-quality experience for underwriters! There will be some big technical challenges, and while we have some ideas about how we can raise the bar of what's possible, there's plenty of room for you to make your own mark and help us set the gold standard for a best-in class modelling experience. What You'll Do Note: hx is still a relatively early-stage business, and our culture prizes initiative highly - as such this section is a good indicator of your role, but the list isn't exhaustive. Own and evolve one of the most complex parts of our platform -the foundation that allows users to build and manage flexible pricing models. You'll design new components and capabilities with a sharp eye on how they integrate and interact with other components and capabilities across the platform. This might be new widgets for models, new ways to execute models, or new ways to interact with models. Balance flexibility with guardrails. You'll work at the intersection of customisability and control, designing components and capabilities that accommodate diverse customer needs while preventing misuse, edge-case chaos, or brittle configurations. Drive platform abstraction. You'll listen to bespoke customer requests and distill them into reusable, generalised patterns-building frameworks and primitives that scale across many use cases without ballooning complexity. A recent challenge was taking feedback on the need for bespoke components and instead developing a framework for customers to build their own. Make hard trade-offs thoughtfully. You'll be constantly weighing the tension between ideal design and practical delivery, considering long-term maintainability, performance, usability, and risk at every turn. Ensure safe evolution. Backward and forward compatibility will be front of mind as you lead migrations, sunset legacy components, and introduce change with minimal disruption to our customers. Collaborate deeply with engineers. You won't be contributing to the codebase, but you'll be expected to dive into discussions on product architecture, data modelling, system boundaries, and failure states. Your background in engineering will help you thrive in these conversations. Tame complexity without limiting capability. You'll make it easier for new users to get started easily (e.g. templates or defaults), while continuing to support power users pushing the limits of what's possible (e.g. enabling them to run the same model in different ways). Experience & Skills hx is far less interested in counting years over evidence of delivery, and our requirements reflect this. You'll have experience: Understanding and representing your users' needs - creating personas and mapping user journeys. Understanding problems and opportunities through analysing data, user research, competitor analysis running experiments, and interactions with the business. Delivering against a wider product vision, strategy and roadmap - executing alongside a cross-functional end-to-end product team. Planning how best to approach delivering maximum impact both within a sprint and over the longer term using the resources available. Co-ordinating across customers and the business to deliver from idea to implementation to launch - communicating the value to users throughout the process. Creating and managing a backlog, balancing strategic, customer, and internal work. Working iteratively, using data to assess and refine your decisions. Being responsible for the overall user experience of your domain. The right person for this role will need: Past experience in a software engineering role. Past experience building software for software builders. Proven experience working as a Product Manager with a track record of successful product delivery in technical products (ideally at a fast-scaling B2B SaaS company). Proven ability to design and define core abstractions, primitives, and extensible building blocks for a highly technical platform, enabling other developers or builders to create robust applications easily. A highly collaborative way of working with a heavy emphasis on teamwork and leading through influence; you empower teams to deliver the best solutions to problems and opportunities. Demonstrable experience working with a technical team with a highly technical product or service within its core responsibilities. A self-starting attitude: you enjoy managing your own time and work, within a high trust and high accountability, but high-support environment. You proactively drive your own personal development and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and challenges. Bonus points for: Community contributions through meet-up/conference talks, blogs, or open-source Insurtech or fintech experience. Experience in data science and/or actuarial science. What Do We Offer? £5,000 for individual and group training/conference budget. 25 days' holiday plus 8 bank holidays (33 total). Company pension scheme via Penfold. Mental health and therapy provision via Spectrum.life Individual well-being allowance via Juno . Private healthcare insurance through AXA. Life Insurance and Income Protection Top-spec equipment (laptop, screens, mechanical keyboards, etc). Interview Process: Talent Partner Screen (40 minutes) Hiring Manager Interview (1 hour) Product Demo (45 minutes) Technical Roleplay Interview (1 hour) Presentation Panel (1 hour) Values Interview (1 hour) We Offer! Please note that background checks will be conducted as part of the hiring process to ensure compliance with our governance policies. We handle all background checks sensitively and in full compliance with relevant regulations. All applicant data will be processed in accordance with data protection regulations and our privacy policy.

Integrations Solutions Lead / Head of Integrations
Legl
About Us Legl is a fast-growing, vertical B2B SaaS and payments platform with a mission to bring the legal industry into the 21st century. We're backed by some of the best venture investors in Europe ( Series B ) and we are scaling quickly on our next phase of growth. Our mission is to make legal services work better for law firms and their clients. Since launching just over 4 years ago, we're proud to partner with over 350 law firms, including 40 of the UK's top 200, and some of their regulated clients as well. We have an agile, ambitious, and collaborative team with deep expertise in design, technology, and our industry. We're not an environment that suits everyone-we thrive on challenge, innovation, pace, and the mindset that every day is day one. We're driven by data and first-principles decision-making, and we're looking for people who are ready to grow with us. For the right individuals, this is an opportunity to thrive, be rewarded, and work on exciting, impactful projects alongside talented, like-minded people, all while advancing your career in meaningful ways. The Role Legl is hiring for an Integrations Solutions Lead to lead the design and delivery of integration solutions. Sitting at the intersection of Product, Engineering and Commercial, you'll work across the business to define integration approaches, coordinate delivery and maintain competitive advantage. Whether integrations are implemented internally, via contractors, or using no-code tools, you will own the solution design, delivery oversight, and stakeholder relationships. This is a highly cross-functional, customer-facing role. You'll need to be technically fluent (though not necessarily a developer), highly organised, and capable of operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment. We're flexible on the title for the right person - this could be Solutions Engineer, Technical Product Manager, or Head of Integrations, depending on your background and preferences. You will be responsible for: Design and lead the delivery of integration solutions between Legl and external systems, working directly with customers and partners to gather requirements, align expectations, and manage the entire delivery process. Represent Legl in external conversations, building credibility and trust with senior technical and business stakeholders in customer and partner organisations. Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams, influencing prioritisation, defining requirements, and shaping technical solutions that are feasible and impactful. Collaborate with Commercial stakeholders, supporting them to navigate sales and customer conversations to drive mutually beneficial outcomes. Bring technical fluency to discussions around APIs, authentication, webhooks, iPaaS, and data mapping - even if you're not writing code yourself. Coordinate execution, whether through internal teams or external contractors - ensuring solutions are delivered effectively, with clear outcomes. Be able to leverage your existing knowledge of the LegalTech ecosystem, staying current with the latest developments. What success looks like after 3 months: Developed a strong understanding of Legl's product, integration capabilities, and LegalTech context - especially around the systems we integrate with and how law firms use them. Built trusted relationships across Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams, and are seen as a reliable go-to for anything integration-related. Has taken ownership of active integration projects and is driving them forward effectively. Established credibility with key customer and partner stakeholders by engaging confidently and constructively in integration-related conversations. You will have: Experience delivering integrations in a LegalTech environment - you understand how law firms operate, their IT stacks and their common integrations with other software. Comfortable with technical concepts like APIs, webhooks, authentication flows, and data formats and able to work effectively with engineers, even if you're not one yourself. Customer focussed and outcome oriented, with a track record of gathering requirements, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery. Strong project management skills - comfortable owning timelines, coordinating across teams, and ensuring integration work progresses smoothly from discovery to deployment. Used or explored no-code or iPaaS tools (e.g. Microsoft Power Automate) to build or spec integrations. A clear and confident communicator, capable of building trust and alignment with senior external stakeholders as well as internal teams. Comfortable operating autonomously, proactively creating clarity and momentum, and adapting as you go. Are structured and organised, able to juggle multiple workstreams, and are comfortable documenting and communicating your work clearly. Legl might not be the place for you if: You're not driven by personal growth, high expectations, or if you struggle with ambiguity and change-our environment thrives on pushing boundaries, taking ownership, and adapting quickly. But it most certainly will be if: You're adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced setting where priorities shift quickly. Pushing boundaries, taking ownership, and striving for more comes naturally to you. You respond to change with ease and can pivot swiftly with minimal guidance. What's in it for you: We all share in Legl's success. Everyone at Legl receives a competitive salary & share options . £250 per year wellbeing budget to spend on anything which contributes to you being your best self Access to support sessions with a professional therapist to prioritise your mental health. £1,000 per year L&D budget to prioritise your continued development. Our team leverages open-source software (e.g. Syft), and also influences the wider industry on standards for SBOMs and SSC. We also have home-grown solutions for specific problems (e.g. the domain of Ingress), providing a broad mix of technologies and approaches. We will trust you to: Collaborate across multiple teams to perform cross-cutting work Work with users to understand their needs Develop and deploy scalable solutions to meeting our supply chain needs Identify risks with our supply chain end-to-end You'll need to have: Experience in Python or Go Knowledge of the software development lifecycle A passion for improving the firm's security posture A drive to partner and collaborate with users and team members alike We'd love to see: Experience making upstream contributions A history of making changes that involve multiple teams Knowledge of software supply chains, SBOMs, and how they are used An awareness of vulnerability, malware and licensing challenges in third party software
