This position has both an operational and strategic focus with the City Manager leading and supporting members of our residence- based teams to drive forward positive and memorable experiences for our students, as well as setting the future direction for the City. Responsibilities Reporting to the Area Manager here is a snapshot of what you will do; Use your upbeat, outgoing personality to lead, mentor and guide the team to ensure that the residence is running smoothly Take full responsibility of the budget and P&L, and the financial performance of the residence. You'll cross all the T's and dot the I's, to ensure you are managing costs and maximising profit for the property Follow up on all sales opportunities and ensure the property is at capacity through short term and long term lets, not forgetting summer business activities Build, manage and cultivate strong University partnerships and local relationships Drive sales and marketing activities to ensure the residences are full and all marketing channels have been utilised to their full potential.
