LOCATION: Bexhill JOB TITLE: Teaching Assistant / Trainee Teacher in the following areas; * Media * Health and Social Care/Early Years CONTRACT TYPE: Part time / Term time only (Temporary 2 year post) SALARY: £16,084 - £17,142 per annum pro rata We are looking for Teaching Assistants / trainee teachers to work in a range of areas within the College. Candidates should hold good qualifications in the subject area they are applying for which could be a degree or a professional qualification to at least level 3. This is the opportunity for suitable candidates to be employed as TA/Trainee Teachers. Key responsibilities (not full list): * To work inside or outside of the classroom either in college, Jameson Mews and our Outreach Centres as required to provide assistance to specific groups of students in order to enable them to gain maximum benefit from the main programme of study. * To work in the Study Centre or the 'monitored study' provision as required. * To provide one to one support in the breakout areas with students as required * To work with specific students as required including students with additional needs * To act as cover supervisors in the absence of teaching staff. * To carry out staff presence during break times and lunch breaks as set What do you need? * Candidates should hold good qualifications in the subject area they are applying for which could be a degree or a professional qualification to at least level 3 * Knowledge of the post 16 curriculum * Be First Aid trained or willing to train Does this sound like you?
