Senior Designer Large Format Print Industry Based onsite in Farringdon Reporting to Creative Director Salary 35k- 40k Job Summary: Reporting directly to the Creative Director, you will be expected to accurately create artwork from concept or client's supplied files / instruction, follow client's brand guidelines or design requirements, and ensure that all images and files are complete and ready for production according to the specifications. Key Responsibilities: Meticulous attention for detail and a clean, creative design style. Ensure that all work is completed to client guidelines. Ensure artwork interpretation is achievable within production constraints. Prepare accurate artwork from approved design and brief. Ensure client guidelines are followed. Responsibility for ensuring account / project managers are kept informed of the progress of the jobs they are working on, and any impact there is to the production plan. Providing colour proofs / samples for client sign off. To ensure that all images produced and proofed are correct and reviewed in accordance to the companies procedures. We produce limited edition prints and one-off original artworks for internationally renowned artists and institutions, and we are regularly called on to help manage some of the most ambitious print-based works in the arts. Omni also covers areas of branding and visual display for major corporate clients, architects and event organisers. The main role of Artworker & Flatbed Operator is to create and prepare artwork ready for production, and to manage the flatbed UV printer to output those files on to a wide variety of materials. You will be taking briefs from the Project Managers and working with the Finishing department to ensure projects are completed to the correct specification, to a high standard and on time. The position would suit an active person with an ability to stay organised in a fast-moving environment and very good attention to detail.
