Building a sustainable tomorrow BAM FM is recruiting a Mobile Gas Engineer to join the team based out of our offices in Stepps and covering the central belt in Scotland. Reporting to the Contract Manager to take responsibility of the building maintenance across several sites. Working 40 hours per week 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday. Your mission The role will require you to directly with other operatives, work closely with clients, subcontractors and colleagues, exercising excellent team working skills and building positive relationships. Build a water industry for the future Reporting to the Bioresources Operations Manager, as part of a site maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and rectifying faults on as well as completing planned preventative maintenance and condition-based proactive maintenance. Your role will support operational teams and enable the safe operation of Bioresources and Water Recycling assets. This is crucial to our mission of protecting the environment we serve through wastewater treatment and producing renewable energy and high-quality bioresource products, which support Circular Economy, Sustainability, and Net Zero goals. What does it take to be a Bioresources Maintenance Technician? NVQ level 2 (mechanical engineering or equivalent) and/or completed a relevant apprenticeship Full UK driving licence Demonstrate experience in completing inspections and maintenance on a variety of gearboxes, pumps, conveyers, valves and centrifuge equipment.
