Business Development Manager

I am seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join an expanding company.

The company provides their products and services to various industries across the Agricultural and automotive sector, supplying to both commercial and domestic customers.

This pivotal role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving growth within the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for achieving targets in the market.

This is a field-based role covering Berkshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire. You will be reporting to the Membury, Hungerford depot. There is an additional opportunity reward scheme alongside your salary, and you have the choice of a company car or a car allowance.

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Report to Membury, Hungerford Depot

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00 - £43,000.00

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve company objectives
• Identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities through networking, research, and outreach
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients
• Attend occasional industry events and conferences
• Build a portfolio of new customers
• Negotiate potential new contracts with prospective clients
• Answer client queries/questions regarding credit terms, products, prices and availability

To be considered:

• Minimum 3 years experience in business development or sales roles
• Strong understanding of sales and customer relationship management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A proactive approach to problem-solving

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Work in an organised manner
