Job Description

We are working with a fabulous client in Derby who have an opening for a Payroll Manager. Ideally CIPPS qualified you will be able to demonstrate end to end payroll experience as well as managing and motivating a small team. This role works closely with the senior team and offers both flexible hours and hybrid working.

Core duties include:

  • Day to day management of the team and processing of high volume, in house payroll experience
  • Benefits and P11D's
  • Management of the monthly pay cycle
  • Training and development of the Payroll Team
  • HMRC/payroll corrections
  • Annual HMRC reconciliations

Experience required:

  • Experience within a similar payroll manager/supervisory level role
  • Experience of managing, motivating and developing staff
  • Exemplary UK payroll knowledge & confident running a fully in-house payroll
  • Sound knowledge of occupational sickness, maternity and paternity schemes and their application.
