We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Bid Management to take bid strategy lead and ensure the successful development and submission of high-quality, competitive bids. You will play a pivotal role in securing new business and driving growth across a UK leading firm's Facilities & Sustainability portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the bid management strategy to maximise win rates and drive business growth.
  • Bid Coordination: Lead and manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
  • Team Management: Build, mentor, and oversee a high-performing bid team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams, senior leadership, and external partners to align bid strategies with business objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all proposals are compelling, compliant, and commercially competitive.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously enhance bid processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and success rates.
About You
  • Proven track record in leading and winning high-value bids, ideally within Facilities or Sustainability.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • Excellent project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in developing bid strategies and writing compelling proposals.
  • Familiarity with bid portals, procurement regulations, and industry best practices.
