Accounting Technician

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service are currently recruiting for a Accounting Technician to join the team based in Leicester with hybrid working available. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £34,314 - £37,938 per annum.

Responsibilities as our Accounting Technician include:

• Supporting the Strategic Accountant in budget setting and budget monitoring
• Supporting Corporate Finance for key activities e.g. final accounts
• Data analysis

Skills and experience we are looking for in our Accounting Technician:

• AAT accounting qualification or equivalent (desirable)
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office.
• Good financial systems and spreadsheet skills
• Excellent organisational and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
