Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to develop accurate estimates for piling works.
  • Prepare cost breakdowns, including labor, materials, and plant requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and the procurement team to gather pricing information.
  • Analyze tender documents and ensure that all requirements are met within deadlines.
  • Prepare and submit bids to clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess conditions and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with project managers to evaluate project scope and potential variations.
  • Track project costs and provide recommendations for cost control.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the piling or foundation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of piling methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent understanding of construction costing and tendering processes.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
