Requirements:
- UK License up to 3.5T - essential
Responsibilities:
As an Landfill Technician, you will be working on a closed landfill site managing the methane gas generated by the decaying waste mass using a gas flare extraction system.
Minimum requirements
- Must hold a full UK driving license
- Experience with working outdoors in all environments
- Physical fit as the roll involves some heavy lifting and walking long distances
- Experience in working as a team
- The roll could involve some callout duties
- Experience using both hand tools and power tools
- The ideal candidate must have good communication skills
- Can work safely using both risk assessments and SSOW
Additional requirements if available
- Holds a current heavy plant driving license
- Metal and plastic fabrication skills
- Can read schematic drawings
- Holds a gas safe qualification
- Any landfill experience
