Safety, Health and Environment Advisor

Assured Safety Recruitment are partnering with large UK manufacturing group to recruit a Safety, Health and Environment Advisor for their production facilities in Crewe. The Safety, Health and Environment Advisor will work closely with the Site SHE Manager promoting the SHE agenda across a large and complex site. You will implement new group Safety and Health initiatives and be play a key part of journey leading new and fresj approach to health and safety.

The SHE Advisor will work closely with the Site Leadership Team and also the wider UK Safety, Health and Environment Team. The Group are committed to Safety, Health and Environment and are seeking a SHE Advisor to advocate and drive Safety, Health and Environment to new levels.

• Support the reduction of SHE risks and hazards across the site
• Deliver appropriate Health and Safety training
• Undertake workplace inspections and audits
• Support the implementation of the new group SHE management system
• Undertake reporting and escalation requirements
• Support the management of contractors and visitors on site
• Implement group SHE initiatives and campaigns across the site
• Deploying strategy and systems
• Complete risk assessment and risk management
• Lead on incident investigation
• Investigate the working environment for unsafe practices and conditions

The role is operationally focussed and hands on, leading your own initiatives on site that focus on safety cultures and behaviours, engaging, and educating, having real conversations.

We welcome applicants with the Nebosh Certificate as a minimum, with previous experience operational SHE experience in a manufacturing setting, leading practical initiatives that empower and encourage engagement. You will have a proven record of engaging with employee's whilst managing a diverse range of technical and legislative risks.
