Our client is a successful independent structural engineering consultancy, working with established clients across various sectors including: education, industrial, residential, water and rail.

With ambitions to build further success, they are looking to recruit a Structural Engineer to their team based near Wigan.

The role will involve the structural design of RC, timber & steelframe structures on various projects and will include site visits to make surveys and take measurements along with a senior engineer.

The ideal candidate will already possess:

• A degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Tekla TEDDs software.
• Some experience in Tekla Structural Designer would be an advantage.
• The ability to deal with technical queries & review CAD drawings.
• A full UK driving licence as the role with include visiting various sites and properties once training has been completed.

In return for the above skills and experience, our client will offer a salary in the range of 37,000 - 42,000 depending on experience plus the potential got hybrid working once the person has settled into the business.
