MAA Recruitment are looking for an experienced CMM Inspector for our world-renowned client based in the South Side of Glasgow that operate in the manufacturing sector. They are looking for a permanent member of staff to join their skilled team of engineers.

Role:

• Inspection of components dimensionally/geometrically, inducing concentricity and squares on large finished machined parts
• Inspection of parts purchased and manufactured and assembled on site.
• Reporting NCRs and undertaking random checks
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Recording and documenting of component deficiencies.

Skills:

Experience of CMM

Experience with technical drawings

Manufacturing experience

Working knowledge of Faro, Ferranti, etc CMM processes

Education:

Must be time served and hold SVQ/NVQ/City & Guilds/Modern Apprenticeship Level 3 or with relevant experience

Hours:

Our client can be flexible on shifts

Dayshift - 37 hours - Mon-Thurs 7.45am-4.15pm and Fri 7.45-11.45am

Dayshift - 4 x 12 hour shifts

Nightshift - 4 x 12 hour shifts - 48 hours

Pay:

Based on the dayshift 37 basic hours - £35,000
