The Role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Private Client department. Based in Shrewsbury, you ll work closely with the department s leadership to drive growth, deliver strategic goals, and provide exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Private Client matters with precision and professionalism.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members.
  • Achieving and exceeding billing targets.
  • Maintaining compliance with the firm s policies, including Lexcel standards.
  • Identifying and pursuing fee-earning and business development opportunities.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in law and practice to ensure top-tier legal advice.
  • Contributing to the department s marketing and growth initiatives.

About You

You are an ambitious and experienced solicitor with:

  • A minimum of five years PQE in Private Client work.
  • Preferably, STEP accreditation.
  • A deep understanding of the legal market and a track record of business development.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to foster team collaboration.
  • The ability to manage your own caseload and meet financial objectives.
