CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator - Turning

Our client is a specialist in innovative downhole technology for the global energy industry. They design and manufacture tools to solve current and emerging challenges for the oil and gas and energy transition sectors, including gas storage, carbon capture and storage, hydrogen storage and geothermal production.

They are currently seeking to recruit an experienced CNC machinist to join their Machine Shop Team at their site in Poole.

Experience preferred with Mazak Fusion / Matrix control (with Yaxis) & XYZ Protrax.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for programming, setting and operating machinery
• Inspection of components, storage of programs and setting instructions
• Reading drawings and understanding tolerances, surface finish, and geometric tolerances
• Responsible for ensuring the correct tools are used/sourced
• Ensure consistent quality
• Monitor CNC machinery when running
