Our client is looking for a Treasury Assistant to join their busy accounts department. You will be required to be in the office 2-3 days a week in Hampshire.
Role Description
- Set up weekly payment batches in bank accounts.
- Set up out of run payments (OORP) and ensure the OORP process is being followed, including correctly processing in the bank and our underlying systems.
- Reconcile the master bank account.
- Main point of contact for required payments to be made.
- Review and control of bank balances and basic cash planning.
- Support with banking related projects.
- Support the Accounts Payable team with uploading invoices, reconciling statements and other queries.
Role Requirements
- We are ideally seeking applicants with two years' experience in an Accounts Payable or a Junior Treasury role (desirable, not essential).
- You will have fantastic attention to detail and a proactive approach, these skills are particularly important within this role as payments must be accurate and reconciled properly.
- Strong IT and Advanced Excel skills are required (VLOOKUP/pivot tables).
