SAP ERP Senior Manager

The SAP Consultant will be part of a highly motivated and passionate team within DXC. You will be responsible for the team that performs all system maintenance, project development, and migration projects at DXC. The resource will be responsible for the team that performs all SAP S/4 and Cloud Services tasks within SAP Projects at DXC, from idea, technical design, implementation, quality assurance, testing, to cut-over support. He/she is responsible for leadership and ownership of delivery and contractual requirements across managed environments.

You will manage, implement, and strategize the design, configuration, development, and implementation of customization and enhancements for the Solution Manager applications and integrated solutions and capabilities with relevant third-party applications to achieve efficient operability, compliance, and sustained productivity, thus enhancing value creation for Division business through IT innovation and supporting the business to attain operational excellence.

Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers' business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers' businesses. As a trusted advisor, create and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge. Actively contribute to the company's solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers. Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Contribute to the organization's profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.

Job specifics/responsibilities:

1. Analyzing, advising, and making recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the technical solutions implemented.
2. Engage with clients to gather and analyze their business requirements and provide in-depth knowledge and insights into module functionalities, configurations, and best practices.
3. Translate client requirements into SAP module specifications and configurations.
4. Design SAP solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and workflows.
5. Lead the implementation of SAP modules, ensuring timely and successful deployment.
6. Manage SAP module projects from initiation through to completion.
7. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
8. Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
9. Develop and execute test plans to ensure SAP module functionality and performance.
10. Identify and resolve any issues or defects in the SAP solutions.
11. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support go-live activities.
12. Create comprehensive documentation for SAP module configurations, processes, and user guides.
13. Prepare regular status reports on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
14. Provide training sessions and support to end-users and client teams.
15. Develop training materials and user manuals.
16. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance post-implementation.
17. Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
18. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
19. Stay updated with the latest SAP module features, enhancements, and industry trends.
20. Identify potential risks and issues related to SAP module implementations. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
21. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure system integrity.

Working relationships:

Internal: Team members of EU SAP SBG group (Sales, Presales, Solution architects, and consultants), Team members from offshore (India and Manila)

External: Business Managers and L3 teams from customer organization

Education (degree) and professional experience required:

Proven experience in SAP S/4 and Cloud Services solutions with at least 2 full cycle implementations. Experience with both S/4 HANA embedded and implementation scenarios on SAP Ariba. Strong experience in Supplier Management, Strategic Sourcing (Indirect Spend), Direct Spend Solutions, Procurement including (Supplier Collaboration, Contract Management, Workflow Management), Financial Supply Chain (Invoicing). Strong experience in MM procurement process and Inventory management process. Strong experience in logistics execution process.

Other requirements: Fluent in written and verbal English.
