Digital Bookkeeper
Location: Carmarthen
Position: Permanent, full time
Salary: £22,880.00-£25,000.00 per year
I'm seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our clients Digital Bookkeeping team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and proficiency in various accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in bookkeeping services.
- Update and maintain client records through relevant accounting software systems.
- Prepare VAT returns, monitor deadlines, and address client queries.
- Handle HMRC enquiries and provide accurate reporting.
- Conduct bookkeeping preparation for a variety of business entities using both computerised and manual systems.
- Support clients in transitioning to Making Tax Digital.
- Train new clients on accounting software systems.
- Assist with ad hoc project work for clients as needed.
- Liaise with clients to address their bookkeeping needs and day-to-day queries.
- Enroll clients in new software systems and ensure smooth transitions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, or Xero.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders within the organisation.
