We are looking for an Assistant Planner to join our Building team based in London, working on a major commercial development in the City of London. This high-profile development requires a meticulous professional who can support our planning activities to ensure successful project execution.

What you'll do:

  • Assist with developing, maintaining and updating the project programme
  • Produce an accurate programme that manages time risk and that the project team and customer can trust
  • Work with the project team and suppliers to produce, challenge and maintain collaborative short-term programmes that align with the main programme
  • Ensure that the lookahead/supplier programmes are accurate
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement on the project

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Construction experience and technical understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques and best practices.
  • Experience of developing short term programmes for a section of works.
  • Understanding of the time impact of typical construction risks and opportunities.
  • Understanding of the construction market, methods of construction, plant, equipment and labour requirements.
