About The Role:

We are working with a mid-sized interior and furniture design studio that are going from strength to strength and are now on the search for a process driven and commercially minded Operations Manager to join their social and welcoming team.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the interiors/furniture sector, ideally within hospitality and workplace. You will play a fundamental part of the company's expansion plans and will work alongside the senior management team to implement processes, procedures and structure to facilitate growth within the team. The ideal person will be commercially and strategically minded and will have demonstratable experience in scaling and implementing growth strategies in a creative, design focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth and efficiency
  • Oversee the company's daily operations, ensuring smooth and effective workflows
  • Identify areas for improvement and introduce best practices
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align operations with the company's long-term vision
  • Manage budgets, resources, and costs to optimise profitability
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the interiors/furniture industry
  • Strong understanding of business strategy and organisational scaling
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in managing budgets and forecasting
  • Team-orientated, with the ability to get the best out of people
