Job Title: Business Development Manager

Salary: 40,000 - 43,000 DOE

Location: St Albans

Contract: Full time Monday to Friday, six month contract

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our client's market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, with a proven ability to identify new opportunities and build lasting relationships with clients. You will be responsible for developing strategic initiatives that align with the organisational goals.

Duties

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Create and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business strategies.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
• Utilise software tools for tracking leads, managing client relationships, and reporting on progress.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable deals.

Experience

• Proven experience in business development and development of strategic partnerships is essential
• Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
• Proficiency in using CRM software, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with experience of exceeding sales targets.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
