Job Description

Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a leading Construction & Maintenance company in the Hull area. The company operates as a key building, repairs, and maintenance contractor, currently employing around 500 people with a turnover of £50 million. With ambitious growth plans in place, they are looking to expand their team.

Job Description

This role is primarily focused on domestic properties, carrying out a variety of electrical tasks, including:

  • General electrical repairs
  • Rewires, refurbishments, and electrical infrastructure upgrades in both occupied and unoccupied properties
  • Electrical installation condition reports
  • Installation and upgrades of smoke alarm systems
  • Fault finding and repairs
  • Electrical installation work for new contracts

Skills & Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installations
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • AM2 or equivalent
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing (desirable)
  • CSCS Card (desirable)
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Salary & Benefits

  • Basic salary: £39,817
  • 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
  • Defined benefit pension scheme with employer contributions of approximately 18.5%
  • 21 days annual leave, increasing to 26 days after 5 years service (plus 8 bank holidays)
  • £600 annual attendance bonus (paid bi-annually)
  • Call-out rota and standby allowance (£700 per full week)
