Maths, Science, & Computer Graduate Teaching Assistants

ASAP start £90-£105 per day

Veritas Education partners with a wide range of nurseries and primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for both long-term and short-term roles, as well as permanent and daily supply positions.

Due to high demand, we are currently recruiting Maths, Science, and Computer Science Graduate Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term roles for schools in the Boroughs across North and East London. Roles are full-time, long-term, and will start immediately.

1. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting classroom learning.
2. Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, including those with SEN, helping to reinforce learning.
3. Support the development of students' academic skills (including literacy and numeracy) and personal development, fostering social and emotional growth.
4. Help manage classroom behavior and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
5. Prepare and organise teaching resources to support lesson delivery and student engagement.
6. Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to track student progress and implement learning strategies.

1. Educated to degree level in a STEM subject area.
2. Have previous experience within a school or other child-related experience.
3. Demonstrate enthusiasm and a professional and friendly approach.
4. Have knowledge and experience supporting children with special educational needs.
5. School-based experience preferred but not essential.
