This company has a strong reputation for delivering high-profile projects across the UK, with an outstanding track record in health and safety performance. Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager will include:

1. Communicating with the client and ensuring clear and accurate communication on all health and safety related matters
2. Monitoring the implementation of the health and safety policies and procedures
3. Engaging and coaching contractors to help drive a positive safety culture
4. Investigating accidents and near misses and implementing corrective actions to drive performance improvements

The successful Health and Safety Manager candidate will have:

1. Proven experience in a similar role within construction or infrastructure
2. Ideally hold or working towards a diploma level qualification and preferably membership of IOSH
3. A pragmatic approach to safety and the ability to engage and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
