We have a fantastic opportunity to join Thames Water as a Cyber Security Apprentice starting in September 2025. As an apprentice, you will learn and develop to support promoting a strong cyber security culture across the organisation and strengthening our defensive capabilities to protect our systems, information and continued business operations from cyber-attacks. You will play an integral role in protecting our organisation against external and internal threats to maintain running our business operations.
Base Location: Hybrid - Clear Water Court, Reading.
Working hours: 36 hours Monday- Friday
Training provider details: You'll complete your apprenticeship through Firebrand Training Limited via a mix of online/virtual learning and periodic residential block release at their dedicated training centre in Wyboston Lakes, Bedford where accommodation will be provided.
Qualification you will obtain: Level 4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship Standard
Entry Requirements: A minimum of 5 GCSEs or A-Levels, a Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship or BTEC in a relatable subject), or relevant experience and/or an aptitude test. STEM subjects would also be beneficial to your application.
Other immediate demands: A driving license is not essential but you must be able to commute to Reading.
